Family Backgorund

I'm Shao-Wei, Li.  My English name is Vance.  There are three members in my family, which include my mom, sister and me.  My parents got divorced while I was very young, which has made me unable to meet my dad so often.  However, this didn't bring me down, it made me more independant than other kids of my age instead.  My mom, a school teacher majoring in music, is a very liberal person.  She once told me, "Do whatever you want but don't forget to think twice ahead."  Thanks to her words, I become more responsible to my life and able to handle it without others' support.  When faced with any obtacles, I would try to resolve them by myself.  As to my sister, she is a student who loves designing and drawing.  We are not only family but good friends.  In conclusion, I love my family a lot and it has made me a better person.
